Guardian Angels - Monthly
Guardian Angels are donors who are committed to consistent monthly financial support through vital donations that range from $10 - $250 per month or more. The support that Guardian Angels contribute is essential to the day to day operation of Mothers' Home. Guardian Angels are integral members of the Mothers' Home family.
'Online Guardian Angels'
An "Online Guardian Angel" will have the donation amount automatically paid each month. The donation can be setup to be charged to a credit card or deducted from a bank account.

Needed Items
We accept donations of maternity and infant related items – anything used to carry and raise a baby. Please donate clean items in the condition you would personally use with your family. Items free of stains or rips, in safe working condition are welcome. We provide a baby shower of new donated gifts for each mother. Additionally, we support the community through our Sharing Space which receives 250 visits annually from low income families and our residents. Donation appointments greatly appreciated.
Our infant resident requests: Diapers, Wipes, Formula, Crib Bedding, Car Seats, Strollers, Baby & Toddler Clothing, New bottles, Lotions & Baby Bath, Thermometers, Coats, Hats, Snow Suits, Socks, Diaper Bags, Baby Monitors, Receiving Blankets, Cloth Baby Carriers like Bjorn or Snugglie, Baby Books Waterproof Crib Mattress Pads.
Our adult resident requests: Baby & Toddler Clothing, Maternity Clothing, Twin Sheet Sets and Bedding, New Personal Hygiene Items (soaps, shampoo, deodorant etc.), Bath Towel Sets, Laundry detergent, Bath robes L& XL, Sweat pants L & XL, Slippers, Breast Pumps, Radio Alarm Clock, Septa Tokens, CVS Gift Cards, DVDs, Waterproof Twin Mattress Pads.
Our Sharing Space requests: Baby & Toddler Clothing up to size 4T, Baby Furniture, Maternity Clothing, Bath robes L & XL, sweat Pants L & XL, Slippers, Umbrellas, Dish soap,(regular & automatic), Paper Towels, Breast Pumps, Cribs, Strollers, High Chairs, Booster Seats, Lamps, Pots & Pans, Baby Swings, Dishes & Flat ware, Kids Books, Parenting Books, Radio/ Alarm Clock, Twin and Full Bedding sets, Cookbooks, Umbrellas.

Volunteers
The Mothers' Home Family is primarily supported through many volunteer efforts. We have opportunities for a variety of skill levels and time commitments. Our volunteers assist with home maintenance & repairs, computer education, landscaping, donations of clothing and furniture, answering telephones, office tasks and fundraising. Last year hundreds of volunteers contributed 2,265 hours of service to Mothers' Home. Volunteers include youth, church and civic organizations; as well as corporate and private individuals and families.
Volunteers Needed: Handy Men & Women, Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Carpet Installers, Drivers, Computer Teachers, GED teachers, House Parents, Donation Organizers, Office Tasks, Committee Members, Holiday Meals, Seasonal House Cleaning, Community Awareness and Special Events & Fundraisers.
